Bio

Born and raised near Lake Geneva, Switzerland, Cedric Chevalley first studied mechanic machining and graduated with a federal certificate of abilities, followed by 9 months in the Swiss army.

In 1994 he began an internship in the Czech Republic for learning the art of glass blowing.

In 1996 he moved to the Vallée de Joux (watch valley) where he was employed by a watch factory, followed by a technical school for jewelry making “école technique de la vallée de joux” where he graduated with the Swiss federal certificate of abilities as Jeweler.

In 2001 Cedric Chevalley created his jewelry company Cbijoux and has specialized in creating custom made wedding and engagement rings. He is renowned for his special design and for using very unique material such as titanium, carbon fiber, wood and tantalum as well as precious metals.

Customers can order custom wedding rings remotely or come to the showroom in Monthey, Switzerland to work on the design with Cedric himself. Each year over 400 wedding rings have been custom made and created.

He won the Prix Golay for “Swissskills” in June 2001 (https://www.swiss-skills.ch) and simultaneously created his own jewelry collection and company Cbijoux.

He won “etoile de la mode” in Paris in 2002, with a jewerly collection made of glass and silver.

In 2004 Cedric Chevalley launched a new ground-breaking collection of interchangeable rings titled “Mood Collection” and was a best-seller until 2013, when it was sold to new management. This company now has 30 employees and sales reach 5 million annually.
